Red River Grooming Co. started the way most things worth doing start — by paying attention to how things are made.

I spent years working in professional kitchens and later built a restaurant from the ground up in southern Germany — concept, menu, interior design, all of it. That experience taught me something I’ve carried with me ever since: simple ingredients, done right, beat complicated every time.

When I made my first batch of beef tallow soap, the difference was obvious. My skin felt better than it ever had with commercial soap, so I kept making it — refining the formula until I had the kind of bar I wanted to use every day.

Today, Red River soap is handmade in small batches with a 90% beef tallow formula, then cured for weeks to produce a hard, long-lasting bar with rich lather and a clean rinse.
