Tallow soap is bar soap made with rendered beef tallow. Red River soaps use a 90% beef tallow formula to create a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather and a clean rinse.

What ingredients are in Red River tallow soap?

Our scented soaps contain saponified beef tallow, saponified castor oil, and fragrance. Original contains only saponified beef tallow and saponified castor oil, with no added fragrance.

Will tallow soap make my skin feel greasy?

No. Properly made tallow soap rinses clean with water. Red River bars are formulated to produce a rich, creamy lather without leaving an oily coating behind.

How long does a tallow soap bar last?

How long a bar lasts depends on how often you use it and how well it dries between uses. Red River bars are made to be hard and long-lasting. Keep the bar on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses to help it last longer.

Are Red River soaps handmade?

Yes. Every batch is handmade in small batches and cured for several weeks before being offered for sale.
